On May 10th I was sitting in training at work when, much to my surprise, my water unexpectedly broke! Brylee was not supposed to arrive until June18th, but I guess she had other plans in mind. Once admitted to the hospital things slowed down quite a bit. I was allowed to try to deliver the on my own the next day and night, but no luck.Brylee Elizabeth Cox was born by c section on Thursday, May 12 at 7:05am. She was 5lbs and 4oz 18 inches long.
I was allowed to have a brief moment with her and Darryl before being taken to the NICU.
