Makenzie 1st lost tooth!

Finally, the moment Makenzie has been waiting for! She has eaten apples for 3 weeks due to this wiggly tooth! She was eating her apple at school for lunch and lost it on the playground afterwards. We have since lost the tooth next to it on the bottom! 2 in one week!

Santa was GOOD this year! My kids still sleep until a normal hour so I will take it! Great day with family and relaxation!

Cheer Bowl 2014

Cheer Bowl is the competition piece at the end of cheerleading season. These kindergarten/first graders worked all season on a 4 minute routine. You should have seen how far they came from thier first practice. Her squad ended up in 2nd place! Makenzie was thrilled for her trophy, but also a metal for placing in the top four!  

Makenzie's 6th Birthday, Let's Roll!

Makenzie had her 6th birthday at the skating rink. She just loved it! Several of her good friends went in together to purchase her first American girl doll. The doll is not a particular character from a book, but it is a just like me doll! We have since been to the Bistro to have lunch with our doll!  

Halloween 2014

So, this year Makenzie wanted to be Malificient from Sleeping Beauty. Brylee was Aurora and Darryl and I were the King and Queen. The neighboorhood is banannas on Halloween. So much fun running around and Darryl gets special enjoyment out of making our front porch the "spookiest" Probably our favorite holiday since we put up our decorations mid September! I enjoyed trying to get crafty for Brylee's school and a Halloween party: Mummy pretzel sticks and a candy corn pumpkin kitty cat!
