We got snow this past weekend so I got to spend an extra day with Makenzie. I took her outside to see the snow and as expected she just wanted to eat it!
Makenzie does not really know who Santa is, but she got the hang of tearing up the Christmas paper! Over the past week or so she has shown me that she understands much of what I am saying to her, but she is not talking much yet. She moved up to toddler 1 at school and is learning more and more and enjoying her new classmates (some moved up with her). The tubes we put in are doing their job and I think they have made a difference in her over demeanor. Although, we have started to experience the occasional temper tantrum!
I cant't believe Bay is already 3! She picked her favorite character for her party and we had lots of fun with arts and crafts. We also received some VERY exciting news that day. By this time next year she will have a baby brother or sister to celebrate with!
We had such a great time in Kentucky for Thanksgiving. Makenzie was able to meet many family members that she has not seen yet. We even got to see Addy and the twins (Ava and Hayes). This is John right before Hayes got him good after he had some lunch-HA!
Can you believe that Makenzie is already a year old? I Can't! She started off her big day with a trip to Gymboree with Daddy. All the grandparents came into town that day as well as Uncle Austin to celebrate. She was thrilled to have her first piece of a cupcake and then we opened presents from the family. To top it all off, Daddy make a pumpkin for Makenzie with Elmo on it!
